Fuzzy Radio x (/09/08/07) Promo Spot

by James on Aug.07, 2009, under Commentary

MUST HAVE SENSE OF HUMOR TO LISTEN

Monday’s going to be a very interesting night on the Revelations Radio Network. Listen to this promotional spot (which took an inordinate amount of time to produce) to find out why.

Okay… I’ll tell you anyways.

Our good friends, CJ and Mario, are releasing a brand new podcast (called R3-something or other) at 10pm EST (Aug 10, 2009). If that isn’t interesting enough… Fuzzy Radio is going to be joining forces with the dynamic duo to release, on that same night, the first ever LIVE episode of OUR show… but not alone….

James is happy to welcome Tom Bionic (Future Quake, Mighty Tom’s Bible Study) to the frx denizens.

Monday, August 10, 2009 @ 8pm EST !!!

Go to Talkshoe.com to join the call in progress on the night of the Monday the 10th (8pm EST).

Then check out The R2D2-thingy pod cast at 10, where they take on the controversial topics that you just don’t hear in Sunday service.

See you there!

Fuzzy Radio x (09/04/29) – Tsarion

by James on Apr.30, 2009, under Commentary

Episode 12

This Special Edition of Fuzzy Radio was in response to internal communications between the podcasters of the Revelations Radio Network. Chris White of Nowhere to Run had created a video to refute some of the claims of new age teacher, Michael Tsarion. As a result, Chris face a barrage of attacks seemingly meant to bully him into removing all material related to Tsarion. Not the least of which was an unfounded “copyright infringement” claim against the video… just one of many that Chris had created and provided for public consideration. (continue reading…)

Send Me Tunes

by James on Apr.18, 2009, under Commentary

I mentioned this casually on one episode of the show, but if you have any original music that you’ve produced and want some type of a forum to show it off…. please contact me. I’d love to find a way to showcase some original music. You may already have noticed that many of us at the Revelations Radio Network are musically inclined. Its seems to me that this could be a perfect fit.

Besides, we’re all about facilitating a closer spiritual relationship with Christ. It’s tough to think of a better way to bring about a spirit of praise than through music. If I’m totally off-base with this whole thing, then cool… but I’d love to at least to attempt this in some capacity.

Update on FRx – Call me, Anytime

by James on Apr.05, 2009, under Commentary

Just a quick note to let everyone know that, although most of the audio for this upcoming episode was recorded over two weeks ago, we’re just a little bit behind with compiling. A thank you goes out to everybody for their patience… not the least of which is CJ from Sword of the Spirit. The poor guy had to send James a note a while back when on the call at the Frank and Chris Show saying something to the affect of, “shouldn’t you be working on your OWN SHOW right now”?

Prayer for Mark Ciasullo

by James on Mar.12, 2009, under Commentary

As many listeners of the Revelations Radio Network knew already, one of our own, Mark from the Final Countdown, was in our prayers recently. His wonderful wife, Gayle, was facing a serious health concern, and time was certainly a factor. I’m extremely sad to say that Gayle went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening (Mar. 11 /09) after a courageous fight with the enemy, cancer. As far as I understand it, Mark was able to be with her to the end… and now she knows the mysteries that we are still yet to comprehend.

We all prayed what we were led to pray during this last week and the knowledge of Mark’s family in our hearts and in our minds… and we need to believe that God is doing a good work when things appear to challenge this notion. Mark mentioned to me last week that he wanted everyone to remain comforted in the knowledge that he and Gayle were fervent in their faith in God and were at peace with His plan and His will. In short, they exhibited wondrous grace throughout a terrible time, and are, even more so than before, an example of God’s love that we can take to heart.

I thank God for the gift that He entrusted to Mark for a time, and I pray that Mark remains comforted in His arms, and in the knowledge that the rest of us are here for him… for together this wall is not easily broken.

God bless you, brother….

Update… March 6, 2009

by James on Mar.06, 2009, under Commentary

Hi Everyone!

I’ve been fairly under the weather this week… and, as such, am behind in my recording duties. It looks as if Episode 6 will be next week’s news. But lest you think that I may be neglectful, you can hear James on two other programs released this week on the Revelations Radio Network:

The Frank and Chris Show – Episode 44

Episode 23 – Sword of the Spirit

Twitter & my supposed Tuesday show

by James on Feb.24, 2009, under Commentary

Hi again!

I guess that, although I have good intentions, my hopes for a Tuesday release of Episode 5 is probably going to be dashed. But you should notice, however, that the website has a much more sleek look to it. Plus… I’m told that I’m now actually “current” since I have just activated the show’s Twitter page. See the link on the right-hand side below. Feel free to add me as your friend, and I’ll be able to keep you updated in real time as to just how unreliable I am with release dates. Sorry ’bout that one!

With reference to podcast 4, sl&rnr:

by James on Feb.22, 2009, under Commentary

How’s it going, everyone?
I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop as to what’s going on with this particular two-part show… Salt, Light, and Rock ‘n Roll!
The first episode was, essentially, meant to be the one and only show based upon the case study of one musical artist. When I worked my way through the podcast, it became quite apparent that I was not going to be able to completely tackle all that I was intending on focusing on in just one show. I thank the many people who have already downloaded sl&rnr… and all within the first twenty-four hours of its availability. I’m so thankful for you guys! Honest! I am completely cognizant of the possibility that when I go down the type of road that I travel in episodes such as this, I may step on some toes… I may even lose listeners. Please believe me when I say, however, that my heart is fully in this one… and my intentions are of a positive nature. I want situations such as a backslider in the ranks (and our reaction to him or her) to become our strength, rather than our weakness. The stakes are absolutely too high for us to screw this type of thing up! Or, worst case scenario, just consider this the ramblings of a Canadian who may be mistaking the sensibilities of an American audience. Either way… I’m going to continue down this path… whether it be friendly and harmonious, or whether it be hostile and lonely. I care about you too much to do it any other way!
