Future Quake – Call-In Special!

This Special Edition of Fuzzy Radio was in response to internal communications between the podcasters of the Revelations Radio Network. Chris White of Nowhere to Run had created a video to refute some of the claims of new age teacher, Michael Tsarion. As a result, Chris face a barrage of attacks seemingly meant to bully him into removing all material related to Tsarion. Not the least of which was an unfounded “copyright infringement” claim against the video… just one of many that Chris had created and provided for public consideration.

As a result, Chris’ video was removed. Chris contested this and, even though he had to provide personal information and consider his legal liability herein contained, had it restored… temporarily. However, through the apparent efforts of Tsarion and, not surprisingly, his legal team, not only was the video in question removed… but any and all traces of RRN itself was removed.. affecting the work of Chris White and Frank Lordi, host of Wise As Serpents.

On a personal note: this was never about Tsarion… as much he cannot consider the possibility that this is anything but a personal attack against him… an affront to the means in which he earns his livelihood. Our struggles are never against flesh and blood, however… and the stakes are much higher than a lawsuit against Chris or Tsarion’s bruised ego. I’ve taken no joy in any of the events surrounding this in any way, shape, or form… and none of us want to see a human being destroyed over the controversy. Quite the opposite in fact. Although Michael Tsarion has the right and privilege to earn an living, and is entitled to any opinion under the sun… he does not have the authority to quash all semblance of debate. His work has to stand or fall under the weight of its own merits. If people want to “follow” any leader or figurehead that they deem fit, then so be it. We should all be thankful for the ability to do so… but, as we head into more dangerous waters… beliefs, words, and ideologies are going to increasingly become a flash point for division… and it is imperative that every side of any given viewpoint be at available to at least some degree. People NEED to be able be exposed to both sides of the issue, lest we become animals to be herded.

As for the before-mentioned discussion between RRN podcasters:
It was proposed that we take action to some degree, and we have. Frank Lordi has done a wonderful job with preparing and releasing a video outlining the inherent hypocrisy involved in selling a line for the good of the “truth movement”, while silencing another possible avenue of truth. He has also prepared a transcript of Chris’ original video. Most of us agreed to use April 29, 2009 as a day of fasting and prayer. Why? To tear a man down? No… as I said… it has NEVER been about Tsarion. There are so many people questioning the world around them. “Truth” seems to be a foggier term to define as each day passes. If Tsarion is to fall, it will be the work of his own hand. More important than the teacher, however, are the people who follow what he teaches. It is the struggle for hearts… it is the struggle for imaginations… and it is the struggle of principalities. The spiritual forces in the heavenly realms may have this place… and they can have it…. it was never ours… but, if can cut through the demonstrable fallacies, through the corruption of ideas.. then… perchance… those who once hated will become those who will most defend! Those who sought to feed itching ears will, instead, seek to feed souls. In short, God’s will be done. This is a message from fallible man. This is the hope of those who are seekers of something even greater. Michael Tsarion is not your enemy… his followers: not a problem. If they believe that they have, indeed, cornered the market on light, shouldn’t we say something? Fuzzy Radio x (09/04/29) – Tsarion is what I felt led to contribute.

I was never sure that I would ever release this show, but, when I did, it was never meant to stay on the feed. Besides, we’re all about facilitating a closer spiritual relationship with Christ. It’s tough to think of a better way to bring about a spirit of praise than through music. If I’m totally off-base with this whole thing, then cool… but I’d love to at least to attempt this in some capacity.

We all prayed what we were led to pray during this last week and the knowledge of Mark’s family in our hearts and in our minds… and we need to believe that God is doing a good work when things appear to challenge this notion. Mark mentioned to me last week that he wanted everyone to remain comforted in the knowledge that he and Gayle were fervent in their faith in God and were at peace with His plan and His will. In short, they exhibited wondrous grace throughout a terrible time, and are, even more so than before, an example of God’s love that we can take to heart.

I thank God for the gift that He entrusted to Mark for a time, and I pray that Mark remains comforted in His arms, and in the knowledge that the rest of us are here for him… for together this wall is not easily broken.
